A holistic general practitioner (GP) with a special interest in lifestyle and integrative medicine, located on the Northern Beaches of Sydney.

Ěḏen Lifestyle Centre (ELC), located in Elanora Heights on the Northern Beaches of Sydney, has been developed to cater for non-urgent, chronic disease medical care such as (but not limited to) cardiovascular disease, diabetes, and mental health conditions. At ELC a whole patient, holistic approach is used to provide adjunct medical care to support you, and your usual general practitioner. We make no claims of curing chronic disease. Instead we aim to build mental/physical health and well-being through lifestyle changes to help relieve symptoms.

 

When it comes to disease, one condition may have many causes, or one cause can have many conditions. Dr Sonia is passionate about seeking to identify, and get to the root cause(s) of the problem if it is possible; and to treat the underlying cause(s) of the condition with the view of eliminating the cause(s), or to improve and alleviate the symptoms if the cause if not curable. Dr Sonia aims to help you recover and restore your well-being. Treatment usually starts with addressing and optimising lifestyle measures first, before considering other therapies which are tailored to individual patient needs and preferences.

 

ELC is not designed or equipped for acute/urgent medical care or medical emergencies. You are advised to have a local GP that you can see at short notice and for standard general practice issues – e.g. acute illness, contraception, standard post-operative care /wound checks.
