ELC is a private billing practice and all consultations are to be paid in full at the end of your consultation. Consultations are calculated on actual time taken based on $7 per minute. Billable time includes all pre-reading and paperwork such as scripts, pathology requests and referrals as well as patient contact hours. #Medicare rebates are based on time taken in a direct consultation with a patient present, not on time taken for work performed in the absence of a patient. Medicare rebates are applicable to all eligible surgery appointments and all eligible video appointments if the patient has seen the doctor in person within the preceding 12 months.
*Typical new patient consultation fees are approximately $525-630. This consists of a 60-90 minutes face to face consultation and any preparation/extra work. Therefore actual time taken depends upon complexity including preparation/extra work. However, Dr Sonia understands the difficulties of complex, chronic illness, and times are economically challenging, therefore she has capped her fees at $630 for a session.
